The Information Center (Ministry of Construction) cooperated with VIETBUILD International Construction Exhibition Organization Company to organize the opening ceremony of the International Exhibition VIETBUILD Hanoi 2023, with the theme "Construction - Building Materials - Real Estate & Interior and Exterior Decoration”, on March 15^th.

Deputy Minister of Construction Nguyen Van Sinh - Head of the Steering Committee for International Exhibition VIETBUILD; Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan; former Minister of Construction Nguyen Hong Quan; representatives of ministries, central branches, associations, specialized associations, representatives of localities and businesses attended the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh said that over the past time, the Government and Prime Minister have promptly and drastically directed to recover and develop socio-economic, including removing difficulties for the real estate market. In February 2023, the Prime Minister chaired a nationwide online conference to remove and promote the safe, healthy and sustainable development of the real estate market. After the conference, the Ministry of Construction chaired and coordinated with other ministries and sectors in construction and submitted to the Government for promulgation Resolution No. 33/NQ-CP dated March 11, 2023 which clearly stated the views, objectives; set out specific solutions for the real estate market and created favorable condition for businesses in the fields of real estate, construction, building materials, interior and exterior decoration to recover and promote production and business activities.

Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh emphasized that the International Exhibition VIETBUILD Hanoi 2023 is a practical activity to concretize the guidelines and policies of the State on construction and real estate, trade promotion, technology transfer, investment cooperation in building and developing brand image; support enterprises in production and business activities; supply and demand connection; development the digital economy in the new situation.

On behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Construction, Deputy Minister Nguyen Van Sinh praised domestic and foreign enterprises, organizations and individuals for actively participating in the exhibition, and thanked leaders of the ministries and branches, the People's Committee of Hanoi City and localities have effectively coordinated with the Ministry of Construction in the state management of the Ministry and created favorable conditions for businesses to invest in and trade in real estate and construction material.

Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan said that in the context of recovery and economic development, Hanoi strengthened and encouraged businesses to cooperate and deploy construction investment projects in the area, especially projects to develop social housing and housing for workers, contributing to the realization of the project "Building investment of at least 1 million social housing units for low-income people, industrial park workers in the period of 2021-2030" which launched by the MoC”.

Visitors were at the exhibition

With a scale of 1,500 booths from 330 domestic and international businesses, the exhibition will introduce the achievements and technological developments of the Construction industry. During the exhibition period (from March 15, 2023 to March 19, 2023), the exhibition also has forums, trade connection programs; scientific conferences, including an international conference with the theme "Low-emission building materials and low-carbon housing" organized by Vietnam Association of Building Materials in collaboration with the Organizing Committee with many new and practical topics are being studied by entrepreneurs to invest in production and business, towards smart, green and sustainable urban development.
