General Director Nakagawa Tetsuyuki thanked Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi and leaders of units under the Ministry of Construction for warmly welcome and reported the overview of production and business activities of AEON Group in Vietnam. He said that from now to 2025, AEON has set a goal of building and putting into operation 16 trade centers in Vietnam, including AEONMALL Hue.
Mr. Nakagawa Tetsuyuki said that on May 1st, 2022, during the visit and working visit of the Japanese Prime Minister to Vietnam, under the witness of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, Vice Chairman of Thua Thien Hue Provincial People's Committee Phan Quy Phuong and General Director of AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd handed over a document to agree on the approval for AEONMALL Vietnam Co., Ltd. to implement a project of AEONMALL Hue.
Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi congratulated AEON Group on achieving many positive results in business investment in Vietnam over the past time and planned to expand investment in the near future.
For the AEONMALL Hue project, the Ministry of Construction has sent a document to the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province to check and review the project documents to ensure compliance with the provisions of the law on investment, bidding, land, construction, real estate business and other relevant laws. To ensure compliance with legal regulations, the People's Committee of Thua Thien - Hue province will compare with relevant legal provisions and regulations to consider and settle the request in accordance with the authority and the law.
Regarding a number of proposals of AEONMALL Vietnam related to policies, Ministries of Construction is conducting the system of documents and legal regulations in the field of construction and then they are adjusted, updated and supplemented the industry’s legal system.
Minister Nguyen Thanh Nghi emphasized that the Ministry of Construction of Vietnam always encouraged, supported and created favorable conditions for people, domestic enterprises as well as international investors, including Japanese investors to invest in business in Vietnam.
