Minister Nguyen Hong Quan meets with Dutch guest

On 09.11.2010 in Ha noi, the Minister of ConstructionNguyen Hong Quan has a meeting and working intimately with the Professor CeesVeerman - Dutch former Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality Prosfessor Veerman - Adviser for the National TargetProgram to Respond to Climate Change and Sea Level Rise in Viet Nam.
At the meeting, Minister Nguyen Hong Quan expressed his happiness to welcome Professor Veerman at the Ministry of Construction, the desire to have more opportunities to contact with Professor to learning experience because the national program on climate change adaptation in Vietnam is more content related to the Ministry of Construction.
Speaking at the meeting, Professor Veerman says willing to cooperate with the Construction Ministry and other ministries in Vietnam to have a general awareness of various aspects of climate change in the Cuu Long River Delta, new problems may occur in the future, the challenges posed by climate change and sea level rise ... to have the cooperation of experts of the two countries in resolving issues.
Minister Nguyen Hong Quan also agreed that the challenges of climate change issues of the Mekong River Delta is very complex, the Government of Vietnam, Ministry of Construction Vietnam wants to have close cooperation, technical assistance and share experience of the Dutch government and the individual Professor Veerman.
Minister Nguyen Hong Quan, and Professor Veerman had a dialogue on issues of interest in the intimate atmosphere and spirit of a constructive partnership.
