Chief of Office of the Ministry of Construction Ta Quang Vinh briefly presented the directing and operating activities of the Ministry of Construction, which emphasized the results of the implementation of a number of socio-economic indicators of the Construction industry the first 6 months of 2022: the national urbanization rate reached 41% (increasing by 0.6% over the same period in 2021); the rate of urban people supplied with clean water through the centralized water supply system was 92.8% (increasing by 0.8% over the same period in 2021); the rate of loss of clean water decreased to 17% (decreased by 0.2% compared to 2021); the rate of total wastewater collected and treated was about 15%; price of housing maintenance materials increased by 0.66%...
On the basis of the important results achieved, the Ministry of Construction sets out the main planning targets in the last 6 months of 2022 as follows: the national urbanization rate by the end of 2022 is estimated at 41- 41.5%; the percentage of urban people supplied with clean water through the centralized water supply system will reach 94%; the decrease in the rate of loss of clean water 16.5% (decreased by 0.7% compared to 2021); the collection and treatment rate of total wastewater is about 16%.
The Ministry of Construction continues to focus on developing and perfecting documents to ensure quality and progress according to the Work Program of the Government, the Prime Minister and the Program on elaboration of legal documents, projects of the Ministry of Construction in 2022; to study and propose an adjustment law on urban and rural planning; urban management and development; water supply and drainage; underground space management; reviewing, supplementing and perfecting the system of legal documents related to construction planning and architectural management.
At the press conference, Deputy Minister Le Quang Hung and leaders of functional units under the Ministry of Construction answered and clarified many contents related to the fields of state management of the Ministry of Construction, such as: Housing and the real estate market; prices of construction materials; construction contract price adjustment; planning adjustment; handle violations of construction order; development of wastewater treatment infrastructure...
